Owner and renowned green roof consultant, Ed Snodgrass, created this mix of plants to work well in a wide variety of environmental conditions found on green roofs in the Midwestern U.S. This custom mix makes plant specification easy, and pre-mixed flats take some of the work out of random installation for a meadow-like planting effect. The variety and particular make-up of this plant mix flourishes even in minimal maintenance situations and gives year-round seasonal interest including winter color and flowers. Vigorous growth in shallow growing medium as little as 4 in. deep.
