Owner and renowned green roof consultant, Ed Snodgrass, created this specific mix of plants to work well in a wide variety of environmental conditions found on green roofs in the Mid-Atlantic region (US). The pre-determined mix makes plant specification easy, and pre-mixed flats take some of the work out of random installation, for a meadow-like planting effect. The variety and particular make-up of this plant mix flourishes even in minimal maintenance situations and gives year-round seasonal interest including flowers and winter color. Vigorous growth in shallow growing medium, as little as 4 in. deep.
