Heuchera americana
Description
This eastern North American Native is grown for its beautiful foliage. It is an accent plant that will tolerate more shade than many other green roof plants. White flowers are small, but pretty, on slender stems.
Like most perennials, this plant will benefit from growing in a deeper soil profile, or, where the green roof media has been mounded. It will need regular water to become established and during extended dry spells.
