Allium schoenoprasum ‘Forescate’
Description
A slightly taller, summer-blooming variety of Allium schoenoprasum. Flowers are a darker, more brilliant pink than the species, and, attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Taller foliage adds an accent in the green roof meadow, adding some height and increasing the potential for biodiversity. Allium schoenoprasm ‘Forescate’ Can retain its green foliage long into the winter months, though it does eventually go dormant in the coldest weather.
