Custom Plants
Emory Knoll Farms is happy to provide custom grown plants specifically for your project and site needs, even plants that aren’t in our regular catalog. Please keep in mind that in some cases a significant amount of lead time may be required for custom grown plants, depending on the species and sizes needed.
When Ordering Custom Plants:
- Read our estimates completely. If the plants you are looking for aren’t available for some reason, we will discuss potential substitutes with you. Substitutes and lead times will be listed on our estimate.
- Allow Appropriate Lead Time. ‘Lead Time’ is the amount of time until the plants are ready for shipping, and begins when we receive your confirmed Purchase Order and down payment. We will notify you of approximate lead times when we provide an estimate.
- A down payment is required. Your order is not confirmed until we receive your deposit. We will begin growing plants after we receive your deposit.
- If the plants you request are not available at the time of order confirmation, we will inform you of new lead times, substitutions, or non-availability. If the substitutions we offer are not acceptable, then the order must be canceled within 2 business days of notification.
- You commit to buying custom plants when you order them. If the project is canceled, delayed, modified, etc., all custom plants must be paid for. Failure to pay in full for custom plants, will put all future orders on hold and affect your account terms with us.
- Communicate! We are happy to work with you on all your plant needs.
