Description

Sedum spurium ‘Summer Glory’ features clusters of pink, star-shaped flowers and dark centers that bloom profusely from midsummer to early autumn. Flowers darken as they age. Dark green foliage emerges in the spring, deepening through the summer, and is one of the first to “green up” in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Red margins are retained until April. Foliage drops in late autumn, with new dark green to bronze rosettes appearing throughout the winter. This cultivar has all the features of our other green roof spuriums – exceptional drought tolerance, hardiness in heat and cold, dense foliage, a good spreading habit, and vivid flowers that attract pollinators. A beautiful plant year round.
