Description

Very similar to Sedum kamtschaticum, this sedum is a vigorous grower that creates mounds of shiny, bright green leaves. Masses of bright lemon-yellow flowers in late summer give way to distinctive red-orange seed heads that persist through much of autumn. Most of the foliage disappears in winter, but small green rosettes remain and begin to grow with warmer weather. Will tolerate some shade. Pollinators are readily attracted to this plant when in bloom. An excellent addition to a green roof, this plant has a trailing habit that is also useful for cascading over walls and edges.
